Russian occupation forces attacked a civilian facility of U.S.

Former US Special Representative for Ukraine Lieutenant General Keith Kellogg, on the eve of the 35th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence, acknowledged the contribution of Ukrainian veterans in the fight for freedom and assured that veteran experience will help build a more resilient and cohesive nation.

Ukraine, through its struggle, is breaking the dysfunctional scenario of the global world order and proving on the battlefield the necessity for new effective peace guarantees, stated Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Lieutenant General Kyrylo Budanov.

The “35 Years of Faith and Freedom” international forum gathered conservative US political leaders, as well as heads of global Christian alliances and missions, in Kyiv, including 48th US Vice President Mike Pence, General Keith Kellogg, Family Research Council President Tony Perkins, and US lawmakers.

European Council President António Costa, UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham, Luxembourg Prime Minister Luc Frieden, Moldovan President Maia Sandu, and Estonian President Alar Karis arrived in Ukraine on Monday, which is celebrating the 35th anniversary of its independence.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul in Kyiv, according to the president’s press service.

Ukraine’s Minister for Veterans Affairs Vitaliy Kim outlined the ministry’s priorities under his leadership: establishing a State Support Service, digitizing services, and ensuring the economic independence of veterans.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on the government, local authorities, and relevant ministries to develop solutions to reform the system of social support for veterans and their families.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated the need to move effective veteran policy programs from experimental resolutions to a more reliable foundation and to extend support to veterans’ families.
